Fisher Mike is a Texan / Cajun!
Dear Fisherman:
I am Fisher Mike welcome to my web-site. I was born in
Texas, and have lived all my life in Texas. I have traveled
across the world and back fishing. It has been great, but it's
time to use my experience to build my dream. I started building
rods, and repairing reel/rods 35 years ago. I worked for my
father in the late 60's & early 70's at his marina on Lake
Livingston called Sweet William's Marina on Sandy Creek. I
worked for Sporting Goods Inc. In the early 80's where I meet
Gary Loomis great guy. I built Loomis Composite rods trough
the 80's some for clients of Gary who recommended me for the
Job. Thanks Gary I would not be doing this today if wasn't for
You. I worked for Academy Sports and Outdoors in Fort Worth
for several years. I broke out on my own in 2005. Fisher Mike's
Reel Repair has done well enough that we started our own Rod
Company Hendrix Rods. We hope to serve the fisherman &
women in North Texas and the world. Please help us grow and

Dirt can reduce the performance of the reel by half in one trip if
left in the elements. Sand is your biggest enemy."

On a personal note:
Mike has been married for 23 years to Scarlotte they have 5
children 3 boys, and 2 girls, 4 grandchildren with one on the
way. "I am truly Blessed" says Mike. They live in Fort Worth,
Texas home to the Cowboy. Please give them your support they
